Early Standouts of the Season

We’ve just began the third week of the MLB season, and already several players have had amazing starts to the 2016 season. They’ll be looking to continue that early season success for the rest of the season, but let’s take a look at some of the standouts–some not so surprising and others on the contrary:

Trevor Story: We can’t have an early standout article with the top rookie of 2016 thus far. The rookie phenom has hit a record 8 home runs and has driven in 14 while batting a solid .288. Story only began the season in the majors due to Jose Reyes’ DV case, but he’s definitely shown that he belongs in the show.

Nolan Arenado: Story’s infield mate, Arenado, has continued his success from last year into the early goings of this season as well. Nolan is batting .281 with 6 HRs and 16 RBIs.
