Sabathia faced the Blue Jays in his last start and he was very successful. In seven innings, Sabathia gave up two hits, zero earned runs, walked one, and struck out seven. In 2016, Sabathia owns a 3-3 record, 2.83 ERA, 36 hits against, 36 strikeouts, and 15 walks in 41.1 innings pitched.

 

P- Mat Latos (vs. New York Mets): $6,700. In 90 career at bats against Latos, the Mets’ offense is batting .222, with there home runs, nine RBIs, 19 strikeouts, and a .313 OBP. Latos has found his groove in 2016 after a few rough years. He is facing the 24th ranked offense in baseball, so this could be a good matchup for Latos. At only $6,700, he provides a lot of value to spread the rest of your cash out to your offense.

P- Stephen Strasburg (vs. New York Mets): $13,400. Strasburg has had a great year so far. In 61 innings pitched, he has a 7-0 record, with a 2.80 ERA, 75 strikeouts, and 16 walks. In his last start, he faced the New York Mets, and he dominated them. He threw six innings, giving up six hits, one earned run, and striking out 10 batters. Strasburg should dominate again on Tuesday considering the Mets offense is struggling (.216 BA in the last seven games) and they lost a key bat in Lucas Duda.

 

P- Julio Teheran (vs. Milwaukee Brewers): $9,400. The Brewers’ offense has struggled all year long. In the last seven days, they are hitting a whopping .207 with a .269 OBP. This should bode well for Teheran. In 44 career at bats against Teheran, the Brewers are batting .227, with 11 strikeouts, and a .274 OBP. These numbers are very encouraging for this matchup on Tuesday.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 5/23/16

 

P- Ian Kennedy (vs. Minnesota Twins): $10,400. Kennedy has been fairly reliable this year, but the Twins offense is the exact opposite of reliable. In the last seven days, the Twins’ lineup has struck out 76 times, which is the second worst rate in Major League Baseball. They are also batting .227 with a .272 OBP, which is second worst in the league.

Kennedy has a 4-3 record in 2016, throwing 50 innings, with a 3.24 ERA, 50 strikeouts, and 17 walks. He is averaging 19.6 points per game on DraftKings this season. Keep an eye on the weather forecast for this game since there is a good chance of rain.

 

P- Taijuan Walker (vs. Oakland A’s): $8,100. Walker is a steal at only $8,100 on Monday. He is facing an Oakland offense whom has struggled a lot recently. In Oakland’s last seven games, they are batting .232 with a .276 OBP.

Walker has been absolutely filthy all year long. In his first 42.2 innings, he has a 2-3 record, 2.95 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and only eight walks. Based on his success this season and the A’s struggles recently, this should be a great play for Monday. He is averaging 16 points per game on DraftKings this season.

P- Matt Harvey (vs. Washington Nationals): $9,700. Harvey has really struggled this year, but Thursday could be the day that Harvey comes out of his slump. In 134 career at bats against Harvey, the Nationals lineup is batting .209, with only 9 RBIs, and a .271 OBP. Harvey’s price has dropped significantly due to his regression, but this could be time to buy him when he is low. Staying away from the incredibly expensive pitchers (Chris Sale, Stephen Strasburg, etc) has helped my offensive lineup for Friday.

 

P- Marco Estrada (vs. Minnesota Twins): $8,100. Estrada has been lights out in 2016. In 43.2 innings pithed, he has a 2.89 ERA, 41 strikeouts, and 18 walks. He will be facing a struggling Twins lineup on Friday, so this should be a great matchup for Estrada. In 62 career at bats versus Estrada, the Twins lineup is batting .226, with 12 strikeouts, and a .294 OBP.
