Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings – 6/24/16

P – Max Scherzer (vs. Milwaukee Brewers): $13,900. In 61 career at bats against Scherzer, the Brewers’ offense is batting .115, with 28 strikeouts, and a .169 OBP. In his last start against Milwaukee, Scherzer held together a perfect game through seven innings. Unfortunately he lost the perfect game in the seventh, but he only gave up one hit with 16 strikeouts in the complete game. In his last three starts, he owns a 2-0 record, 0.90 ERA, and 27 strikeouts.

P – Cody Reed (vs. San Diego Padres): $7,200. In his MLB debut, Reed showed lots of promise. He threw seven innings against the Houston Astros, giving up four runs, and striking out nine. His ability to strike batters out should make him a very good play on Friday. San Diego is ranked 27th in strikeouts, which is great for Reed.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 6/4/16

P- Clayton Kershaw (vs. Atlanta Braves): $14,100. I don’t care how expensive Kershaw is, he is a must start against one of the worst offenses in baseball. In 104 career at bats against Kershaw, the Braves’ offense is batting .240, with 35 strikeouts, and a .288 OBP. Kershaw is currently on pace for one of the best seasons in baseball by a pitcher in a long time. In his 86.2 innings pitched in 2016, he owns a 7-1 record, 1.56 ERA, 51 hits against, 105 strikeouts, and only 5 walks.

 

P- Bartolo Colon (vs. Miami Marlins): $7,000. In 262 career at bats, the Marlins’ offense is batting .279 with a .287 OBP. In his last 10 starts, Colon has given up more than three runs in only one of those starts. He won’t put up elite numbers, but he is a very viable option for solid statistics.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 6/3/16

P- Jesse Hahn (vs. Houston Astros): $7,200. In 43 career at bats against Hahn, the Astros’ offense is batting .163 against Hahn, with one home run, three RBIs, 11 strikeouts, and a .217 OBP. The Astros have the worst strikeout rate in baseball, so Hahn could put up quite a few K’s, which is a great source of points on DraftKings.

 

P- Gio Gonzalez (vs. Cincinnati Reds): $8,800. In 63 at bats against Gio, the Reds’ offense is batting .190, with two home runs, eight RBIs, 17 strikeouts, and a .264 OBP. Gio Gonzalez has been very consistent in 2016, so he should be able to handle a struggling Reds’ offense. So far in 2016, Gio is 3-3, with a 3.57 ERA, 53 strikeouts, and 17 walks in 58 innings pitched.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 6/2/16

P- Madison Bumgarner (vs. Atlanta Braves): This is a must play on Thursday. One of the best pitchers in baseball is facing one of the worst offenses in the last few years. In 84 career at bats against Bumgarner, the Braves’ offense is batting g.262, with 13 strikeouts, one walk, and a .287 OBP.

 

P- Zack Greinke (vs. Houston Astros): This could be a great matchup for Greinke. The Astros are known for striking out a bunch, so this could lead to a lot of points on DraftKings. It is worth noting that the Astros’ offense has been pretty hot recently, so it could be a risky play. In 87 career at bats against Greinke, the Astros are batting .299, with three home runs, 25 strikeouts, and a .315 OBP.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 6/1/16

P- Jaime Garcia (vs. Milwaukee Brewers): $8,400. Garcia is facing the 23rd ranked Brewers’ offense on Wednesday. In 131 career at bats against Garcia, the Brewers’ offense is only batting .191, with two home runs, 12 RBIs, 29 strikeouts, and a .230 OBP. In the past seven days, the Brewers’ offense has struck out 73 times, which is the third worst in Major League Baseball.

 

P- Masahiro Tanaka (vs. Toronto Blue Jays): Tanaka will be facing the 24th ranked Blue Jays’ offense on Wednesday. In 81 career at bats against Tanaka, the Blue Jays are batting .198, with three home runs, seven RBIs, 27 strikeouts, and a .252 OBP. The Yankees are 6.5 games out of first place, so these divisional games are a must-win, which should have Tanaka fired up.

P- CC Sabathia (vs. Toronto Blue Jays): $9,000. In 177 career at bats against Sabathia, the Blue Jays lineup is only batting .186, with three home runs, 12 RBIs, 46 strikeouts, and a .239 OBP. Sabathia faced the Blue Jays in his last start and he was very successful. In seven innings, Sabathia gave up two hits, zero earned runs, walked one, and struck out seven. In 2016, Sabathia owns a 3-3 record, 2.83 ERA, 36 hits against, 36 strikeouts, and 15 walks in 41.1 innings pitched.

 

P- Mat Latos (vs. New York Mets): $6,700. In 90 career at bats against Latos, the Mets’ offense is batting .222, with there home runs, nine RBIs, 19 strikeouts, and a .313 OBP. Latos has found his groove in 2016 after a few rough years. He is facing the 24th ranked offense in baseball, so this could be a good matchup for Latos. At only $6,700, he provides a lot of value to spread the rest of your cash out to your offense.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 5/28/16

P- Zack Greinke (vs. San Diego Padres): The Padres’ offense has been one of the worst in Major League Baseball all year long. Not only have they struggled this year, but they have struggled against Greinke every time he stepped on the mound. In 178 career at bats against Greinke, the Padres’ batters are batting a cool .191, with one home run, eight RBIs, 44 strikeouts, and a .237 OBP.

Greinke has struggled at some points in 2016, but he has been very good in his last two games, which were against the New York Yankees and St. Louis Cardinals. Greinke has thrown one game against the Padres this year, in which he threw 7.1 innings, giving up six hits, two earned runs, one walk, and five strikeouts.

 

P- Wade Miley (vs. Minnesota Twins): $9,100. In Miley’s last six starts, he is 5-0 with a 3.12 ERA. So far this season, he hasn’t had a noticeable “easy” matchup, so it should be nice to face a struggling Twins’ offense.

The Minnesota Twins have by far the worst offensive stats against left-handed pitchers this season out of all Major League Baseball teams. In 263 at bats against lefties, they are hitting a whopping .209 (last in MLB), 21 runs (last in MLB, and a .285 OBP. Well folks, we are in luck because Wade Miley does in fact throw with his left arm.
