These rankings are obviously subject to change based on the performance of each player throughout the rest of the season. Daily Matchups for 7/9/2016
Pitcher
STUDS
Max Scherzer- Easily the top pitcher on the day. Mets haven’t been hitting well of late. Should get plenty of strikeouts and a shot at the W.
Carlos Martinez- Brewers have combined to hit 13-56 of Martinez, and are one of the worst offenses vs. RHP’s this season.
MID RANGE
Danny Salazar- Right now the Yankees offense is a hot mess. Only down fall here is they don’t strike out much, which limits his upside. More of a GPP play here.
Lance McCullers- McCullers has great strikeout numbers but at 4 walks per 9, it runs that pitch count up in a hurry that being said, a matchup with Oakland could offer some nice fantasy value.
VALUE
Rick Porcello- Only there Rays really have good match ups vs. the Boston righty, but the Rays as a whole have been horrible this season vs. righties. Porcello is in play in cash and GPP for me today.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 7/9/16
Due to the amount of time dedicated to the analysis of my midseason top 100 prospect rankings analysis, which you can find on my blog, I will not be providing reasonings behind my DFS picks for the next few days. I can assure you my picks below have been chosen using the same research methods I use on a daily basis. These methods include weather, B v. P stats, recent success, splits, stacks and much more. - Gary Sanchez (NYY, 23 Years Old, C): Sanchez has been a highly touted prospect since 2011. He has fluctuated in the rankings each year, but he is finally close to the big leagues. In 243 plate appearances this season, he is batting .281, with nine home runs, .321 OBP, .487 slugging percentage, and a .808 OPS in Triple-A. His defense has improved quite a bit to go along with his elite arm, so it looks like he will stick behind the plate. Sanchez is the catcher of the future for the New York Yankees.

P- Hisashi Iwakuma (vs. Kansas City Royals): $6,500

Midseason Top 100 MLB Prospect Analysis (91-100)
Below you can find my analysis for the prospects ranked between 91-100 for the 2016 midseason top prospect list. - Braden Shipley (ARI, 24 Years Old, RHP): Shipley was considered a top 50 prospect following the 2014 season, but he has declined since. In 2016, he has thrown 107.1 innings, with a 3.69 ERA, 117 hits against, 68 strikeouts, and only 18 walks in Triple-A. His walk rate and command have drastically improved, but his lack of strikeouts is a concern. A few years ago, Shipley was viewed as a potential 2/3 starter in a rotation, but it looks like he could be more of a 4/5 starter when he gets his chance.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings – 6/24/16
P – Max Scherzer (vs. Milwaukee Brewers): $13,900. In 61 career at bats against Scherzer, the Brewers’ offense is batting .115, with 28 strikeouts, and a .169 OBP. In his last start against Milwaukee, Scherzer held together a perfect game through seven innings. Unfortunately he lost the perfect game in the seventh, but he only gave up one hit with 16 strikeouts in the complete game. In his last three starts, he owns a 2-0 record, 0.90 ERA, and 27 strikeouts.
P – Cody Reed (vs. San Diego Padres): $7,200. In his MLB debut, Reed showed lots of promise. He threw seven innings against the Houston Astros, giving up four runs, and striking out nine. His ability to strike batters out should make him a very good play on Friday. San Diego is ranked 27th in strikeouts, which is great for Reed.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 6/3/16
P- Jesse Hahn (vs. Houston Astros): $7,200. In 43 career at bats against Hahn, the Astros’ offense is batting .163 against Hahn, with one home run, three RBIs, 11 strikeouts, and a .217 OBP. The Astros have the worst strikeout rate in baseball, so Hahn could put up quite a few K’s, which is a great source of points on DraftKings.
P- Gio Gonzalez (vs. Cincinnati Reds): $8,800. In 63 at bats against Gio, the Reds’ offense is batting .190, with two home runs, eight RBIs, 17 strikeouts, and a .264 OBP. Gio Gonzalez has been very consistent in 2016, so he should be able to handle a struggling Reds’ offense. So far in 2016, Gio is 3-3, with a 3.57 ERA, 53 strikeouts, and 17 walks in 58 innings pitched.

Daily Fantasy MLB DFS Picks For DraftKings 6/2/16
P- Madison Bumgarner (vs. Atlanta Braves): This is a must play on Thursday. One of the best pitchers in baseball is facing one of the worst offenses in the last few years. In 84 career at bats against Bumgarner, the Braves’ offense is batting g.262, with 13 strikeouts, one walk, and a .287 OBP.
P- Zack Greinke (vs. Houston Astros): This could be a great matchup for Greinke. The Astros are known for striking out a bunch, so this could lead to a lot of points on DraftKings. It is worth noting that the Astros’ offense has been pretty hot recently, so it could be a risky play. In 87 career at bats against Greinke, the Astros are batting .299, with three home runs, 25 strikeouts, and a .315 OBP.
