Milwaukee Brewers 7 RBI Guys – Aaron Hill and Ted Kubiak
Aaron Hill of the Milwaukee Brewers had a great offensive game this past Saturday night.
Hill had three homers and seven runs batted in, including the go-ahead grand slam in the 10th inning, as the Brewers won 13-7. Hill is now the ninth Brewers player in franchise history to drive in seven runs in a game.
In case you missed it last fall, I posted on my blog a story I wrote about infielder Ted Kubiak – the first Brewers player to drive in seven runs in a game. It happened for Kubiak in 1970, which was a great highlight in the midst of a disappointing 65-97 season. Ted was fascinating to interview and provided a great deal of information, not just about his time with the Brewers and the seven RBI game, but his coaching career and what he’s up to now.
Again, if you missed it, here’s the link to the Ted Kubiak story…
