Justin Verlander, 33 years old, seems to be swinging for the fences after asking supermodel, Kate Upton, 23 years old, to marry him. Verlander and Upton started dating in 2013, but they quickly broke it off. After being apart for 6 months, they decided to get back together. Ever since then, the happy couple has been all over social media and they aren’t shy about talking about one another. They are one of the most talked about couples in Major League Baseball. While Justin Verlander is a very popular public figure in Detroit, it looks as if Kate could be the hottest Verlander in Detroit once they tie the knot.

P- Michael Wacha (vs. Philadelphia Phillies): $9,000. Wacha will be facing the 22nd ranked offense of the Philadelphia Phillies at home on Tuesday. In Wacha’s first 5 starts, he is 2-1, with a 3.07 ERA, 24 strikeouts, and 9 walks in 29.1 innings. He should thrive in this game since he is pitching against a mediocre offense and he is at home.
P- Matt Harvey (vs. Atlanta Braves): $10,300. Harvey will be facing the 21st ranked offense of the Atlanta Braves at home on Tuesday. In Harvey’s first 5 starts, he is 2-3, with a 4.76 ERA, 21 strikeouts, and 9 walks in 28.1 innings. His ERA is very inflated considering his FIP is a 3.56. This matchup is perfect for Harvey to get back to his old self.

Believe it or not but baseball is played in Iran. Thanks to countless efforts and lots of patience of Japanese Toma Irokawa, who has been manager of the Iran national team and who has helped to develop the game in the Islamic Republic.
Who ever could believe that a game invented by the arch enemy of Iran would be played there? Now the sport will even grow more rapidly as the Iran Federation of Sport Associations, Iran’s Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, the Iranian National Olympic Committee, and the Iran Baseball and Softball Association and the WBSC agreed on a joint collaboration to expand and develop baseball and softball in Iran.

Clayton Kershaw threw a complete game 3 hit shutout, striking out 14 Padres along the way in the Dodgers razor thin 1-0 victory.
Nolan Arenado singled, homered, drove in three and showed some solid defense in the Rockies 6-3 victory over the Diamondbacks.
Marcus Stroman pitched 8 innings, allowing 3 hits, 1 run and 9 strikeouts. He would earn the 5-1 decision for the Blue Jays over Tampa Bay.
Brett Lawrie went 3 for 3 with a homer to lead the White Sox past Baltimore, 7-1.
They all owned baseball on May 1, 2016.

The Red Sox swept the Yankees. That always gives me reason to gloat. Meanwhile I see more reason to eliminate divisions.

This should turn out to be quite fun. A lot of gambling establishments have this sort of deal, and we will keep a running total of this on a daily basis (just for fun though), in addition to MLB Shutout Survivor, Who Owned Baseball (Daily MVP of the pitcher/hitter in both the American and National League) and also our Interleague results.
What Runs Survivor is: A MLB team scoring 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 or (10+) in different games throughout the course of the season.
Once a club has one of these run totals once, you cross it off and keep going until they complete the 11 different variations.
A Bold Italic illustrates it has been done for runs by the club.

Some Tiger fans were very excited to see the Tigers top prospect (Sons of 84 #68th ranked prospect in this year’s Top 100 list), make his debut on Friday night. As fans, we really couldn’t expect a much better outcome as Michael Fulmer battled in Minnesota a team that sat in last place, but with an above .500 record at home before Friday.
The 2016 MLB June Amateur Draft is quickly approaching and it’s time to make the first mock draft a few months out. The draft will be held on June 9th, 2016. There is still two months until the draft, so these predictions are subject to change.
